2022 NBA Finals: Stephen Curry wins his first Finals MVP award

After guiding the Golden State Warriors to their fourth championship in eight years, Stephen Curry was named the Bill Russell NBA Finals MVP in 2022.

Curry won his first Finals MVP award, which he was unanimously selected for, by averaging 31 points, five assists, and six rebounds in the Finals.

Curry's dominance in the 2022 Finals was evident. Curry was Golden State's rock in a series where everyone struggled to score.

His 43-point outburst in Game 4 will go down as one of the most memorable Finals games ever.

His gravity helps the Warriors produce practically every other shot they make, even if it doesn't show up in the box score.

His 33 points were key in the Warriors clinching the championship on Thursday night.
