Air taxi inventor makes first successful flight with electric four-seater aircraft

If you're tired of paying standard gas prices and burning fuel in city traffic, technology company Volocopter may have the solution.

The aircraft creator has completed the first successful test flight of the four-seater VoloConnect urban air taxi,

which is scheduled to be commercially launched in 2026, according to its CEO.

"The urban air mobility market that everyone is waiting for is already made up of different sectors,"

CEO Florian Reuters told FOX Business' Stuart Varney on Tuesday. 

"We are building three different cars to cover all these types of sectors."
