Chicago's richest man moves $22 billion company to Florida

Chicago's richest man is leaving the city and taking his $22 billion

firm with him, according to Mayor Lori Lightfoot (D).

Ken Griffin, a roughly $29 billion hedge fund millionaire, announced his

relocation from Democratic-led Illinois to Republican-led Florida.

Citadel Securities, a corporation valued at roughly $22 billion, is also poised to relocate to Florida, according to a report.

Citadel management allegedly indicated in a letter to staff that crime was a key factor in the decision to relocate.
