Damian Lillard agrees to 2-year max extension with Trail Blazers

A $122 million, two-year deal has been agreed upon by Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers.

According to a person with knowledge of the negotiations, it places the 2026–27 season within the Olympic gold medalist's contract.

According to the source who talked with The Associated Press on Friday, Lillard will earn approximately $59 million in 2025–2026 and then approximately $63 million the following year.

Before the extension starts, he will earn nearly $137 million over the following three seasons.

Six-time All-Star Lillard has played his entire ten-year NBA career in Portland.

This past season, he was only able to play in 29 games due to a core issue that necessitated surgery.
