NBA News: Jazz All-Star Rudy Gobert Traded To Timberwolves

Rudy Gobert, a three-time All-Star and Defensive Player of the Year, was traded from the Utah Jazz to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

By bringing in Gobert and teaming him with Karl-Anthony Towns, the Timberwolves are giving up a significant amount of future assets in order to have the best frontcourt in the NBA.

Malik Beasley, Jarred Vanderbilt, Patrick Beverley, Leandro Bolmaro, Walker Kessler, four first-round picks, and one first-round pick swap are being given to the Utah Jazz in exchange for the Timberwolves' first-round picks.

Over the past few weeks, there has been a lot of talk that the Jazz would be making a significant move.

Everything else for the Jazz was set in motion by Snyder leaving Utah, including this deal involving Rudy Gobert, which denotes a "soft rebuild" for Utah.

Although several clubs have shown interest in the Jazz's All-Star guard Donovan Mitchell this offseason, they currently have no plans to trade him.
