According to a companywide memo obtained by CNBC, SpaceX President Gwynne Shotwell informed staff
that she personally believes recent sexual misconduct allegations against Elon Musk are unfounded.
"Personally, I believe the claims are untrue; not because I work for Elon, but because I have worked closely with him for 20 years
and have never seen or heard anything approximating these allegations," Shotwell wrote to CNBC.
"Anyone who knows Elon as well as I do knows that he would never engage in or condone this alleged improper behavior," she stated.
Musk was accused of exposing himself to one of his SpaceX employees during a massage and begging her for sex, according to a report published Thursday by Insider.
