On Friday, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) inspected 2.45 million
flight passengers, the largest day total since February 2020.
However, the figure was lower than the 2.73 million passengers screened on the same day in 2019.
The strong footfall was despite weather and personnel concerns that caused travel delays.
According to FlightAware https://flightaware.com/live/cancelled/yesterday,
711 flights were canceled and over 6,000 were delayed on Friday.
